The 42nd edition of the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC) has opened, bringing together global leaders from the energy, technology, finance and industrial sectors.
His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, inaugurated the event at the Abu Dhabi Energy Centre.
Widely regarded as the world's largest energy conference and exhibition, ADIPEC serves as a platform for governments, investors, industry leaders and experts to discuss the future of energy, strengthen international cooperation and explore new investment opportunities.
Sheikh Mansour said the UAE continues to reinforce its position as a reliable partner in supporting global energy security through strategic investments, infrastructure development and advanced technologies.
He also stressed the need for stronger international cooperation, greater investment and resilient energy systems that balance energy security, economic growth and sustainability goals.
This year's edition, running until November 5, focuses on key priorities shaping the global energy sector, including security, infrastructure development, investment, artificial intelligence and digital innovation.
ADIPEC 2026 is the largest in the event's history, featuring more than 2,260 exhibiting companies, 30 country pavilions and over 1,800 speakers participating in 380 conference sessions.
More than 239,000 attendees are expected to take part.
