Is Facebook finally caving in to user demand and introducing a ‘Dislike’ button? According to the social network’s founder, one is being tested as we speak. Speaking at an event at Facebook’s Menlo Park, California headquarters, Mark Zuckerberg revealed that people have been asking for a ‘Dislike’ button "for years." The reason it's due to the fact that the ‘Like’ button isn’t always appropriate for posts revolving around bad news or tragic events, for instance. The CEO added that the company has been keen to avoid the button due to the fact that it could be used to vote down other people’s posts for no reason. Nevertheless, he explained that the new button is ready to be tested soon, and could be rolled out "depending on how it does."
