Andrew Garfield to headline MEFCC in Abu Dhabi

The Middle East Film & Comic Con has announced that Andrew Garfield, the beloved actor behind The Amazing Spider-Man, will be attending the event in Abu Dhabi from April 19-20, 2025, at the ADNEC Centre.

Known for his roles in The Social Network, Hacksaw Ridge, and Spider-Man: No Way Home, Garfield’s appearance is set to thrill fans of all ages.

Garfield’s portrayal of Peter Parker in The Amazing Spider-Man (2012-2014) won him a dedicated fanbase, and his return as the iconic superhero in Spider-Man: No Way Home in 2021 further cemented his place in the hearts of moviegoers.

This event marks a rare opportunity for fans to meet the actor and relive the magic of the web-slinger.

Joining Garfield at MEFCC will be other fan favorites including Stranger Things star Natalia Dyer, The Flash’s Grant Gustin, Daredevil’s Charlie Cox, and Star Wars’ Ian McDiarmid. The event will also feature popular voice actors from anime series such as Sailor Moon, Naruto, and Fairy Tail.

The 13th edition of MEFCC will host over 38,000 fans, becoming the region’s largest popular culture festival celebrating iconic film and television characters, with opportunities to meet stars from some of the most beloved franchises in pop culture.
