Courteney Cox is "desperate" to try counselling. The 'Friends' actress and Snow Patrol singer Johnny McDaid are said to have called off their engagement earlier this month but it has been claimed that things had been "rocky for a while" between the pair. A source said: "Things have been rocky for a while. They were arguing over wedding plans, had one almighty row and she asked him to leave. "They are both devastated that it has come to this. Courteney has been especially upset and is telling friends it's a trial separation while they figure out how to move forward. She's desperate to have relationship counselling." The 51-year-old actress - who met the 'Run' hitmaker through mutual pal Ed Sheeran - still loves Johnny and wants to marry him one day but feels they must "address their problems" first. The insider added to Grazia magazine: "They fell in love extremely quickly. And now it seems that they've reached a stumbling block. "Courteney says she loves Johnny and wants to marry him, but she knows deep down they can't plaster over cracks and get hitched without addressing their problems. But she is still hopeful they will get through this, as we all are."
