American pop star Prince has died. The 57-year-old was found unresponsive on Thursday at his Minnesota home and was later declared dead. "It is with profound sadness that I am confirming that the legendary, iconic performer, Prince Rogers Nelson, has died at his Paisley Park residence this morning," said his spokeswoman, Yvette Noel-Schure. Prince's music combined jazz, funk and disco and he was best known for hit songs that included "Purple Rain" and "Kiss." The singer sold more than 100 million records during his career, won seven Grammy awards and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004. Last year, Prince performed an exclusive event charity gig for Autism Rocks at club Pacha Ibiza in Dubai on February 4.
