Man charged with manslaughter in Essex lorry deaths

A man has been charged with manslaughter after 39 people were found dead inside a refrigerated trailer in the UK last week.

According to Essex Police, the 25-year-old lorry driver has also been charged with trafficking, immigration and money laundering.

Maurice Robinson will now appear in court on Monday

The bodies of 31 men and eight women were found in the town of Grays on Wednesday.

Five others remain in police custody.
