Schools in Alberta will soon add the Filipino language to their curriculum, in addition to the 26 languages already offered across the Canadian province.
A Filipino kindergarten to Grade 12 curriculum is currently under development by the local Department of Education.
The announcement was made by Canadian politician Rachel Notley who expects the program ready by 2020.
