Russian President Vladimir Putin has arrived in Saudi Arabia for a landmark regional trip that also includes the UAE.
He was received at the Royal Terminal of King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh by Prince Faisal bin Bandar Al Saud, Governor of Riyadh Province, and other senior officials.
Putin is scheduled to hold talks with the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia as well as Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz.
A meeting between Russian and Saudi business representatives is also on the agenda.
Putin will land in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday after concluding his tour of Saudi Arabia.
