The UAE Pro League has announced the shortlisted finalists for the its upcoming awards. Al Wasl's Ali Saleh is up for the prestigious Golden Ball award alongside Al Jazira's Ali Mabkhout and Shabab Al Ahli's Yahya Al Ghassani, following votes from fans and coaches.
Federico Cartabia from Shabab Al Ahli, Al Ain’s Laba Kodjo, and Mohamed Firas Ben Larbi of Ajman will battle it out for the Golden Ball for the best foreign player.
The Golden Boy for the U23 Best Emirati Player nominees include Abdulla Hamad from Al Wahda along with Harib Abdalla Suhail and Bader Nasser Abaelaziz - both Shabab Al Ahli players.

Other awards up for grabs include the Golden Glove, Fans’ Player of the Year, Fans’ Goal of the Year and Best Coach.
The UAE Pro League awards ceremony's night will include statistics-based awards, such as the Golden Shoe for the ADNOC Pro League Top Scorer, the Silver Shoe for the U21 Pro League Top Scorer, Fantasy Manager of the Year, Fans League Award, the Golden Shoe for ADIB Cup Top Scorer, and the Dream Team Award. The nominees have been selected based on statistics provided by sports analytics company Opta.
Winners will be announced at the gala ceremony held at Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, Thursday August 10.
