Heartbreak for Juventus, Man United in Champions League

Juventus and Manchester United have been knocked out of the UEFA Champions League.

Italian giants Juve were beaten 2-1 at home by Dutch side Ajax in the second-leg of the quarter-finals.

Cristiano Ronaldo gave Juventus the lead after 28 minutes, but the visitors scored a goal each in either half to register a 3-2 aggregate victory.

In Tuesday’s other clash, Barcelona thrashed Manchester United 3-0 in the Nou Camp to reach the semi-finals 4-0 on aggregate.

Lionel Messi struck twice for Barca, while Philippe Coutinho scored the third goal.
