Australia have crashed out of the World Twenty20 after a batting master-class by India’s Virat Kohli. Chasing a victory target of 161, Kohli blasted 82 runs off 51 deliveries and steered India home in a nail-biting final over. Aaron Finch top scored for Australia with 43 and Glenn Maxwell hit 31, but it wasn’t enough. After coming second in Group 2, MS Dhoni’s side will now face the West Indies in Mumbai in the semi-final on Thursday. Speaking after the game, Kohli, who smashed 32 runs off his last 11 balls, praised the India fans saying they helped push the players through the tough times.
