Arabian Gulf too hot for humans by century-end

NULL

The Arabian Gulf will be too hot for humans by the end of the century. That’s word from authors who’ve published a new study in the journal Nature Climate Change on the region’s weather in decades to come. The study suggests the Gulf could be subjected to waves of heat and humidity so extreme that simply being outside for several hours could threaten human life. The paper goes onto say that extremely humid conditions are dangerous because they prevent the human body from cooling down through sweating.
