Kazakhstan has been removed from Abu Dhabi's "Green List" of destinations that are exempt from COVID-19 quarantine for arriving passengers.

The Department of Culture and Tourism - Abu Dhabi updated the list on its website.

Travellers to Abu Dhabi are still required to present a valid negative COVID-19 PCR test received within 96 hours prior to their scheduled departure.

Upon entering the emirate, they will take another PCR test at the airport and must wait for the negative result before being permitted entry.

Those flying in from other countries will be required to self-isolate for 10 days.

A total of 12 destinations are now on the 'Green List' - Australia, Bhutan, Brunei, China, Greenland, Hong Kong (SAR), Iceland, Mauritius, Morocco, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia and Singapore.
