Dubai has started a ferry service to Sharjah.
The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) will commute passengers between Al Ghubaiba Marine Station in Dubai and Aquarium Marine Station in Sharjah.
The new line has a capacity to serve 1.3 million riders every year and is subject to increase if needed.
The trip will cost AED 15 if you're travelling in Silver Class and AED 25 in Gold Class.
The journey is free for people of determination and children below five with free WiFi connection provided for all riders.
The transit time between Al Ghubaiba and Aquarium stations will be about 35 minutes, with boats being available for commuters every 30 minutes during morning peak hours.
It marks the first time ever that a marine transit service has operated between Dubai and any other emirate.
