DHA

Dubai health authorities have greenlighted plans for a new hospital that will offer specialised treatments for gastrointestinal tumors, liver transplant and morbid obesity surgeries.

Set to be located in Dubai Healthcare City, the hospital with 65-bed capacity will be built on an area of 21,150 square meters.

Built in collaboration with South Korea's Asan Medical Center, Scope Investments, and the Dubai Health Authority (DHA), it will consist of seven ground floors and two basement floors.

Construction is set to be completed in 2026.

The hospital will offer a range of key treatments for those with stomach, colon and pancreas tumours, care and follow-up for those before and after liver transplant operations, and digestive disorders in children.

It will also conduct morbid obesity surgeries.
