India's Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has postponed exams scheduled for Class 12 students on March 9, March 10, March 11, in the UAE and the Middle East, with the new test date to be announced later.
In an official statement, the board revealed Middle East countries that will not hold the exams include Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE due to the ongoing regional developments.
It also noted that it will review the situation on Tuesday, March 10, to determine the next course of action.
The board advised students to follow up with their schools for any updates and information on the examinations.
On Thursday, the board cancelled Class 10 examinations for the UAE and Middle East region, adding that the mode of result declaration will be notified separately.
Since the start of the regional crisis, the UAE Ministry of Economy and Tourism has recorded over 560 violations, mainly for unjustified price hikes, issuing 449 warnings and fines exceeding AED 207,000.

The National Centre of Meteorology has forecast relatively unstable weather across the UAE until March 15, with a chance of rainfall over some areas, particularly western and coastal regions.
