Dedicated taxi parking spaces and new rest zones for drivers are being introduced in Dubai as part of a major mobility upgrade.

Parkin Company, the city’s leading paid parking provider, has signed a strategic agreement with Dubai Taxi Company to support this rollout.

Under the deal, Parkin will allocate key parking spots for taxis near major events and congested areas, while creating designated rest areas within parking zones to support driver comfort and well-being.

Rapid EV chargers will also be deployed to support the shift to greener taxi fleets.

Beyond physical upgrades, the two companies will share data to optimize charging and parking operations, explore smart mobility solutions and opportunities for joint investments in future technologies.

Dubai Taxi will also integrate Parkin’s Business Wallet to simplify parking payments across its fleet.

The partnership aims to enhance service for both drivers and passengers, and supports Dubai’s wider push toward sustainable, tech-driven urban transport.
