Over 900 students graduate from Dubai Police's summer programme

A total of 922 students from 28 nationalities have graduated from Dubai Police's summer programme.

During a special ceremony at Dubai World Trade Centre, the students participated in military drills and showcased their training journey in a documentary. 

Held under the theme "Our Summer is Safety, Happiness, Innovation, and Leadership", the programme offered a variety of specialised courses including young investigator course, military and fitness training, future officer programme, horse care course and 901 call centre training.

Speaking at the event, Lieutenant General Abdulla Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police praised the students' commitment, highlighting the importance of such programmes in supporting youth during the summer break.

He stressed that the Dubai Police is committed to nurturing disciplined, aware and responsible youth capable of contributing to the society. He also thanked the parents for encouraging their children to benefit from such opportunities.

Hessa bint Essa Buhumaid, Director-General of Dubai’s Community Development Authority, commended the success of this year’s edition, noting the role of such initiatives in cultivating diverse skills.

The programme was organised in cooperation with the Emirates School Establishment, Knowledge and Human Development Authority, and Dubai Sports Council.
