UAE’s Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed concluded his three-day official visit to India by holding a meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The two discussed bilateral ties between the UAE and India and reviewed regional and international developments.
Sheikh Abdullah highlighted the strategic relations between the two countries, adding that they have witnessed qualitative leaps across multiple areas in the past few years.
In a Tweet, Modi wrote: "We talked at length about further improving economic and cultural relations between India and the UAE".
The Indian Foreign Ministry, in a statement, said Modi had “reiterated his strong commitment to work with the UAE leadership to take the relationship to higher levels in all spheres of cooperation, including in trade and economy, energy, tourism and contact.
