The UAE’s Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation has advised the private sector to implement remote working arrangements for employees for a period of three days starting from Sunday, March 1, until Tuesday, March 3.
In a statement, the ministry has also recommended that workers avoid open areas, with the exception of necessary roles that require physical attendance.
The ministry added that the decision to "suspend work or otherwise" is up to the competent local authorities in accordance with the ongoing developments in the country.
The ministry also advised establishments to follow updates and get information from official sources across the UAE.
