Specialised teams from the UAE continue to assist Albanian officials in containing raging wildfires across the country for the fourth consecutive day.
Equipped with state-of-the-art firefighting tools and technology, the emergency crew work to contain and prevent flare-ups, while closely monitoring fire zones.
The team also holds regular meetings with Albanian officials to develop strategies to fight the rapidly spreading fires, national news agency Wam reported.
Operations began on Monday in the forests of the Gramsh area and surrounding areas, following the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to support Albania in its firefighting mission.
