Foreign ministers of the UAE and Kuwait have discussed the need to strengthen regional cooperation after an infiltration operation in Bubiyan Island by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) was foiled.
During the call with Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, stressed that the security of Kuwait is integral to the security of the UAE and GCC countries.
Sheikh Abdullah also reaffirmed the UAE’s solidarity with Kuwait and praised the efficiency of the Kuwaiti security services in uncovering the terrorist operation.
