UAE President arrives in Riyadh for GCC-ASEAN Summit

President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has arrived in Riyadh, leading the UAE delegation at the joint summit of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).

The summit commences today in Saudi Arabia.

Upon arrival at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, Sheikh Mohamed was received by Saudia Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and other high-ranking officials.

Taking to his official social media handle, Sheikh Mohamed said "partners affirmed the enduring importance of international cooperation and integration" at the summit.

He also thanked Saudi Arabia's King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for convening the summit "to strengthen ties with ASEAN nations".
