UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has awarded the Order of the Union to Mohammad Al Gergawi in recognition of his long-standing service and contributions to government work.
His Highness conferred the honour on the Minister of Cabinet Affairs during the opening of the inaugural World Laureates Summit in Dubai, which runs for three days.
The President praised Al Gergawi as a national figure who has set a distinguished example of public service, commending his commitment, sincerity and professional competence. He also wished him continued success in serving the country.
Al Gergawi said he was deeply honoured to receive the award, expressing gratitude for the trust placed in him by the UAE’s leadership. He highlighted the continued support given to national talent, which he said enables individuals to play a meaningful role in the country’s development.
He added that the recognition would serve as strong motivation to continue working towards the leadership’s vision for a more prosperous future, and pledged to remain dedicated to serving the nation.
