UAE President discusses regional issues with US National Security Advisor

President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan held a phone call with US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan to discuss the strategic relationship between the UAE and the United States.

The talks focused on enhancing cooperation across various sectors, particularly in development and artificial intelligence, following Sheikh Mohamed's recent visit to the US.

They also welcomed the UAE's designation as a 'Major Defence Partner' of the US.

During their conversation, Sheikh Mohamed and Sullivan addressed key regional and international issues, emphasizing the importance of political solutions to the ongoing crises in the Middle East, especially in Gaza and Lebanon.

Both leaders also underscored the need for urgent humanitarian aid to Gaza, Lebanon, and Sudan to alleviate the suffering of affected populations.
