UAE, Senegal focus on bilateral ties

The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi held talks with the President of Senegal in Abu Dhabi's Al Watan Palace.

Macky Sall was welcomed with an official reception ceremony.

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, later took to Twitter to highlight the great bond he shared with the leader. 

"I am delighted to welcome my friend, President of Senegal. We discussed ways to strengthen and develop bilateral ties as well as regional and global developments," he tweeted.

"We have a unified vision about the importance of security and stability in building societies and countries," he wrote.

A number of agreements between the two countries were also inked after the meeting.
