The Environment Agency – Abu Dhabi has unveiled a first-of-its-kind, AI-powered portal to monitor and report environmental issues at the COP30 climate summit in Brazil.

His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has issued a directive to waive participation fees for Sudanese publishers at the 44th Sharjah International Book Fair.

Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, and Noura bint Mohammed Al Kaabi, Minister of State, underscored the UAE’s commitment to shaping a future in which culture deepens connection and understanding.

The UAE has joined the US, Qatar, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Pakistan, Jordan and Turkey in urging the UN Security Council to quickly adopt a US resolution endorsing President Donald Trump's peace plan for Gaza.

The UAE has referred the accused in Sudan's arms smuggling case to judicial authorities after completing an investigation into the incident, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) announced.
